Ok, I have these GORGEOUS fish that I bought right after I got married. They're called
Julidochromis transcriptus "Kissi" Bemba. *Julies for short*

I have been trying to get a breeding pair out of my fishes for a long time, I had originally bought 3 and they fought all the time for dominance, they're very aggressive fish, so I bought a fourth, that was apparently a different species all together, *looks similar but not spot on* So anyways, I split them up into two ten gallon tanks in hopes of getting a breeding pair, and FINALLY after MONTHS and MONTHS of waiting, and watching fights and then watching my fish in the second tank "disappear" for several months...
*they're cave dwellers and very shy these fish* Then one day they emerge and what to my surprise, They have babies! Tiny cute little fishes, only 2 babies...but they did it! They finally spawned and I have a breeding pair. *they mate for life* <3 ^3^ so cute... hehe I can now raise said fish and sell them for 15 bucks a pop when they're large enough. I'm so stoked, I just have to make sure they don't die now... heh.
Here's some pics of the happy family. Sadly the babies are too shy to come out for very long so I could only get a photo of the one baby. I LOVE that they're black and white w/ a little rim of blue on all their fins, and the pectoral fins are a lovely shade of yellow. *easier to tell in person*
