Exciting things are happening

Hello friends

Some freakishly exciting things are happening right now, got a lot of upcoming shows, been selling customs like crazy, been contacted by a few designer toy companies about doing one of my designs on their pre-existing lines... <--- (omgomgomgomg) Can't say who just yet, but so far it's looking promising.

Also I'm going to be in a custom toy show at SDCC (SanDiegoComicCon) really excited about that! I can't afford to actually be there in person, but to be there in art form... oh man, makes me soo happy!

I'm actually able to live off of my art for the first time ever. I was for a time *coughthreeyearscough* having to have horrible jobs that would drain me emotionally to the point that I couldn't even think about doing art. I'm so thrilled that people are enjoying what I've been doing lately enough to support me buy purchasing my customs/paintings.

*I'm not rich by any means, but I would rather live modestly and happily making art than doing anything else! I don't know if it'll last forever, but I'll enjoy it thoroughly while I can!

I feel like I could fly!

I'm glad things are going so well for you! Hope toy design company thing goes through. It's very exciting to me to think about possibly making a living off of my art some day and it makes me really happy to see other artist who are succeeding in doing so.

You'll get a guide from the comic con that has listings for all types of stuff in the area. I don't hang in the city like I used to - been like 10 years since I've lived there. Everything you'll need in the city will be on 42nd and Broadway going uptown - if you never been there before you'll be stunned. Make sure you hit the giant ToysRus on 45th and Broadway - they have a real Ferris wheel in there and a moving life sized T-Rex.

I've been, but I was a teenager, my husband however has never been, so it should be fun to see how he likes the city.
